Win commercial contracts before your competitors know they exist.
Every Monday morning: every commercial project approved in the last week near you. Offices, shopfits, refurbs, new units and residential developments, matched to your trade, with the company behind each one. Approval is the earliest public signal a project is going ahead. Be first in.
Simple. Automated. Every week.
We scan every council
Every local authority in your range, checked for commercial planning approvals from the last 7 days. Decisions, not rumours.

One contract pays for a decade of KnockFirst.
Commercial packages are worth tens of thousands. If being first through the door wins you one fit-out, one roof, one groundworks package a year, this is the cheapest business development you will ever do.
Be the first in your patch, literally.
KnockFirst is brand new, which is exactly why it works: most subcontractors in your area have never seen an approval-timed project list. Early subscribers get their patch set up personally and help shape what we build next.
Try it as a one-off. Subscribe when it earns its keep.
- This month's approved commercial projects in your patch
- Up to 20 leads, filtered to your trade
- Company and agent identified on each project
- Delivered to your inbox, usually within the hour
- No subscription, no commitment
- Fresh approvals from the last 7 days, every Monday
- Your trade, your radius (up to 40 miles)
- Company identification via Companies House
- Never sent the same lead twice
- No contract, cancel in one click
Not sure? Start with the pack. If the leads are good, the subscription is the same thing arriving automatically, and one won package pays for years of it.
Tell us your patch.
Pick what you want: this month's pack as a one-off, or fresh approvals every Monday. Either way, tell us where you work and what you do.
Questions subcontractors ask us.
Where does the data come from?
Public council planning registers and Companies House, the same information anyone can look up for free. The difference is we watch every council in your range, every day, filter out the householder noise, and identify the company behind each project. Doing that manually would take hours per council, per week.
Can I actually contact these companies?
Yes. These are businesses, not households. Under UK marketing rules (PECR), B2B outreach to limited companies does not require prior consent; you must say who you are and offer an opt-out. Each lead links the planning record and, where matched, the Companies House entry, so your intro is specific and credible.
Why approvals and not applications?
Applications get refused, redesigned or shelved. Approval means the project is real: the maybe is over, funding is usually in place, and the owner has a three-year window to start. It is the earliest public moment to introduce yourself, before the job is anyone's.
What kind of projects will I see?
Offices, retail and shopfits, hospitality conversions, industrial units, residential developments, external refurbishments and recladding, schools, clinics and care settings. Filtered to the categories that mean work for your trade.
How fresh are the leads?
We send weekly, covering decisions from the previous seven days. Council registers update at slightly different speeds, so occasionally a decision appears a few days after it was made. Still weeks ahead of anyone waiting for hoardings to go up.
What if there's nothing in my patch one week?
Then the email says so and you've lost ten seconds. Commercial approvals flow steadily across a 25-mile patch; quiet weeks happen, quiet months don't.
What exactly is in the £19.99 pack?
Every commercial project approved in your patch in the last month, up to 20 leads, filtered to your trade: project description, address, category, indicative value band, the applicant and agent behind it (matched to Companies House where possible), and a link to the full planning documents. One email, usually within the hour.
How does subscription billing work?
£49.99/month via Stripe, billed monthly in advance, starting when you subscribe. No trial games: buy a £19.99 pack first if you want to judge the quality before committing. Cancel anytime and it stops at the end of the paid month.
How do I cancel?
One click from any email, or reply "cancel". No contract, no notice period, no retention call.
